Having a passion for history – particularly military history – I self published a pictorial book on the War of 1812 titled, 1812 Pictorial Trails. Of course, with something like this, I needed assistance. So, with the help of many wartime re-enactors who gave their time so generously to keep our history alive, and the preserved locations of battlegrounds, I was able to recreate many of the historical events that took place. There are many photographs of unsung heroes in this book, such as, Henry Bostwick who continued the fight even after General Brock was killed; or General Brock receiving the Two Row Wampum from Tecumseh.
1812 Pictorial Trails is a soft cover book with 110 pages of full colour, historical images. It is rare to find such images in this vibrant quality. 1812 Pictorial Trails is available for purchase for only $30 (plus tax/shipping).
